Taco 5421 is a non-electric straight through zone valve designed with a half-inch female IPS and half-inch male union nut and nipple connections. This valve is suitable for use with remote operators or built-in operators. When using the built-in operator, install the valve so that the sensor is positioned on the side instead of the top to avoid heat affecting the temperature sensor.
