The TACO 49-125T-1 is a 4900 Series air separator engineered for complete air elimination in closed loop hydronic heating and cooling systems. Using a patented PALL ring process, it removes dissolved and entrained gases from circulating water, preventing air-induced noise and system inefficiency. The unit handles operating conditions up to 240 degrees F and 150 psi. The brass housing contains a stainless steel PALL ring with a large surface contact area, promoting efficient gas separation with minimal pressure loss. Licensed plumbers and hydronic heating technicians are the primary installers of this component.

The TACO 49-125T-1 is suited for residential and light commercial closed loop hydronic systems where air accumulation causes pump noise, reduced heat transfer, or circulation problems.
