The TACO 1635eae1l000000 is an inline circulator pump designed for hydronic heating and cooling systems. The unit ships less motor, meaning a compatible motor must be field-supplied to match the required horsepower, RPM, enclosure type, voltage, and phase for the application. The casing and bracket are cast iron, the impeller is stainless steel, and the shaft is stainless steel. A replaceable bearing cartridge isolates internal components from system fluid, rated for temperatures up to 250 degrees F. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon mating ring, and EPT elastomers for fluid containment.
This pump is suited for commercial and residential hydronic systems where an inline configuration is required. The 2-inch suction and 2-inch discharge connections and a 6.15-inch nominal impeller diameter make it appropriate for medium-to-large circulating loops. The long motor bracket accommodates a range of drive units while maintaining the standard cartridge arrangement. A rear pull-out design allows full removal of the motor and rotating assembly for service without breaking into the piping, making it a practical choice for systems where downtime must be minimized. Installers in commercial mechanical rooms and industrial hydronic applications will find this configuration well suited to their serviceability requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style inline circulator pump for use in hydronic heating and cooling piping systems requiring 2-inch suction and 2-inch discharge connections and a 6.15-inch nominal impeller diameter.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or mechanical contractor familiar with hydronic system requirements. Shut down and depressurize the system and isolate the pump with service valves before beginning any work. Because this unit is supplied less motor, the installer is responsible for selecting and mounting a compatible motor that meets all application-specific electrical and mechanical requirements before energizing the system. Refer to applicable local mechanical codes and the motor manufacturer's instructions for proper mounting, electrical connection, and startup procedures.
