The SYSTEM SENSOR SS-PHOTO is an addressable photoelectric smoke detector sold with a mounting base included. Photoelectric detection technology responds to slow-smoldering fires by sensing light scatter from smoke particles in the detection chamber. This unit connects to an addressable fire alarm control panel loop, allowing the panel to identify the exact device location during an alarm event. Licensed fire alarm technicians and low-voltage contractors install this detector in commercial and residential fire alarm systems where addressable device topology is required.

The SS-PHOTO is suited for addressable fire alarm systems in commercial buildings, multi-family residential construction, schools, and light industrial facilities. Installation Notes
