The SYSTEM SENSOR P2WLED-LF is a low frequency sounder strobe unit designed for wall-mount installation in fire alarm and life safety systems. Low frequency audible signals, typically in the 520 Hz range, are specified for sleeping areas and other applications where occupants may not respond adequately to higher frequency tones. This device combines an audible sounder with a visual strobe in a single wall-mounted housing finished in white. It is installed by licensed fire alarm technicians and electricians working to NFPA 72 requirements.
The P2WLED-LF is suited for residential and light commercial fire alarm applications where low frequency notification is required by code. Common installation locations include sleeping rooms in hotels, dormitories, apartment buildings, and assisted living facilities. The wall-mount form factor and white finish allow it to blend into standard interior environments while meeting the audible and visual notification requirements of modern fire alarm system designs.
Designed as an OEM-style notification appliance for use with compatible fire alarm control panels in residential and light commercial life safety systems.
Installation must be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician or electrician in accordance with NFPA 72 and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out the fire alarm control panel circuit before wiring the device. Verify polarity on supervised circuits before restoring power. Do not substitute this device for a standard frequency sounder strobe where low frequency notification is specifically required by the system design or authority having jurisdiction.
