Surecall SC-588W Outdoor Omni Antenna Cellular

Product Description

The SURECALL SC-588W is an ultra wide band outdoor omnidirectional antenna designed for use with cellular signal booster systems. Omnidirectional antennas radiate and receive signal in a 360-degree pattern, making them well suited for locations where the nearest cell tower direction is unknown or where signal must be captured from multiple directions simultaneously. The SC-588W is built for outdoor installation and handles the broad frequency ranges required by modern multi-carrier cellular booster setups. Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or experienced communications contractor familiar with RF system design.

This antenna is intended for outdoor mounting as the donor-side component in a cellular distributed antenna system or consumer-grade booster installation. It is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications where an omnidirectional capture pattern is preferred over a directional Yagi-style antenna. Typical installations include rooftop or mast mounting to maximize line-of-sight exposure to nearby cell towers across multiple frequency bands.

Key Features

• Ultra wide band design supports multiple cellular frequency bands in a single antenna
• Omnidirectional radiation pattern captures signal from all compass directions
• Outdoor-rated construction suitable for rooftop and mast-mount installations
• Sold individually as a single unit

Compatibility

Designed as an outdoor donor antenna for use with compatible wide band cellular signal booster systems. Verify connector type and supported frequency bands against your specific booster before installation.

Installation Notes

Power down the cellular booster unit before connecting or disconnecting antenna cables. This antenna is installed by low-voltage technicians or RF system integrators familiar with coaxial cable routing, connector termination, and local RF emissions regulations. Follow FCC Part 15 and Part 90 guidelines as applicable to your booster system. Maintain required separation distance between the outdoor donor antenna and indoor server antenna to prevent oscillation feedback.
