The SUPERIOR ABRASIVES A014831 is a Type S quick-change abrasive disc engineered for fast material removal and surface finishing in metalworking and fabrication applications. The disc measures 2 inches in diameter and is coated with aluminum oxide abrasive at 120 grit, placing it in the fine grade range. It features a cloth backing with an X-weight rating, providing durability and flexibility under load. The maroon-colored disc mounts via a Type S attaching system and is rated for a maximum of 30,000 RPM, making it compatible with standard quick-change disc holders used in die grinders and similar tools.

This disc is suited for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, welds, and fabricated components where a fine finish pass or light deburring is required. The aluminum oxide abrasive cuts consistently across steel, stainless, and aluminum surfaces. Installation Notes
