The SUMITOMO 1AHB017 is a solid carbide indexable drill insert designed for use in indexable insert drills across a range of machining applications. Built to the WDXT06L style in manufacturer grade ACP300, this parallelogram-shaped insert features a 0.2362 inch inscribed circle, a 0.1181 inch thickness, and a 0.0236 inch corner radius. The TiAlN and AlCrN dual-coating is applied via PVD process, providing high heat resistance and wear performance in demanding cutting environments. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production facilities, or maintenance machining environments are the primary installers of this insert type.
