It carries the manufacturer catalog designation TPMT21.51ESU-AC5015S and belongs to the AC5000S series. The insert features a triangular shape with a 60-degree included angle, a 0.25 inch inscribed circle, and a 0.0157 inch corner radius. An Absotech Bronze PVD coating is applied to the AC5015S grade carbide substrate, enhancing wear resistance and thermal stability during interrupted and continuous turning operations. The insert uses a positive rake geometry and a screw-type holding method, making it compatible with standard TPMT-style toolholders.
