The SUMITOMO 14U2ALH is a solid carbide milling insert designed for use in indexable face and shoulder milling applications. It carries the ACU2500 manufacturer grade and features a PVD-applied Absotech coating, which provides wear resistance and thermal stability during high-speed cutting operations. The insert measures 19.5 mm wide and 5.5 mm thick, with a 1.60 mm corner radius and a G-style chip breaker geometry. It is sized to the 1705 insert size designation and is right-hand oriented. This insert is installed by machinists and CNC mill operators working with compatible toolholders in the WEZ cutter series.

This insert is suited for milling ferrous and non-ferrous materials in production machining environments where consistent chip control and edge life are priorities.
