The SUMITOMO 14HBW12 is a solid carbide milling insert in a round (QPMT) insert style, designed for high-performance metal removal in milling operations. Manufactured to the ACP300 grade, it carries a PVD-applied coating for extended tool life and improved wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. The insert measures 0.375 inches in inscribed circle diameter and 0.156 inches in thickness, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.1875 inches. It conforms to ANSI standard QPMT32.510PPENH ACP300. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians install this insert in compatible milling cutter bodies for demanding material removal applications.

This insert is engineered primarily for milling stainless steel and carbon or alloy steel workpiece materials, corresponding to ISO material groups M and P. Installation Notes

Insert seating and torque-down should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician following the cutter body manufacturer's recommended procedure. Do not exceed the maximum depth of cut rating for the insert grade and workpiece material combination.
