The SUMITOMO 144WAKX is a solid carbide milling insert designed for high-performance metal removal in indexable milling applications. It features an AOMT insert style in a rectangular shape with an ACM300 manufacturer grade and a PVD-applied Absotech coating, which improves wear resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The insert measures 19.5 mm wide and 5.5 mm thick, with a 0.80 mm corner radius and a maximum depth of cut of 15.0 mm. A right-hand cutting orientation and G chip breaker geometry make this insert suited for controlled chip formation during face and shoulder milling operations. It is installed by machinists and tool-room technicians working with compatible indexable milling cutter bodies.

This insert is intended for use in indexable milling cutters compatible with the WEZ cutter series.
