Strong SR-CAB-SLIDE-21U Slide-out Rack 21U

Product Description

The STRONG SR-CAB-SLIDE-21U is a 21U slide-out rack designed for organized, accessible equipment mounting in rackmount enclosures. This unit allows installed equipment to extend outward from the cabinet, giving technicians direct access to rear ports, cabling, and hardware without removing components. It is built for use in structured wiring enclosures, AV racks, and equipment cabinets common in commercial and residential integration projects. Installation and service are typically handled by low-voltage integrators, AV technicians, or structured cabling professionals working in equipment rooms, telecom closets, or home theater installations.

The SR-CAB-SLIDE-21U fits into standard rackmount cabinet environments where 21U of vertical rack space is available. It is suited for deployments requiring routine access to rack-mounted equipment, such as network switches, patch panels, amplifiers, or media distribution hardware. The slide-out design reduces the need to reposition the cabinet for rear-access servicing, making it practical in tight or built-in installation scenarios.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by low-voltage or AV integration professionals. Follow applicable low-voltage installation codes and cabinet manufacturer guidelines during mounting.
