Sterling 72284100-0 Shower Wall Set 48x36 Vikrell White

Product Description

The STERLING 72284100-0 is a three-piece shower wall surround from the Accord Collection, designed for 48-inch by 36-inch alcove shower installations. Constructed from Vikrell, Sterling's proprietary fiberglass-reinforced composite material, the surround delivers structural rigidity and a high-gloss, low-maintenance finish that resists mold, mildew, and everyday cleaning products. At approximately 48 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 55-1/8 inches tall, it covers the full perimeter of a standard alcove opening. This wall set is installed by licensed plumbers or qualified remodeling contractors in both residential new construction and retrofit applications.

The Accord Collection wall set fits standard 48-inch by 36-inch shower alcove rough openings and is suited for residential bathroom remodels and new construction projects alike. It can be installed as a standalone surround or paired with a compatible shower base, such as the Sterling 72281100, to complete a coordinated enclosure system. The three-piece panel configuration allows the unit to pass through standard doorways during installation, reducing the difficulty of maneuvering a one-piece surround into tight spaces.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor in accordance with local building codes. Turn off the water supply and verify wall substrate condition before beginning. Panels must be adhered to a solid, structurally sound backer surface using a manufacturer-approved adhesive; do not rely on adhesive alone where code requires mechanical fasteners. Follow the included installation guide for seam sealing and caulking to prevent water infiltration behind the panels.
