The STEINER 1364K-18 is a pair of flame-resistant welding sleeves constructed from carbon fiber knit fabric. Designed to protect the arms and wrists during high-heat welding operations, these sleeves deliver arc and heat resistance without the bulk of a full jacket. At 18.0 inches in overall length and 3.0 inches in width, they fit over most workwear and are sized universally for a broad range of users. The carbon fiber knit material is rated at 25.00 oz/sq-yd and is engineered to be breathable and lightweight, reducing fatigue during extended welding shifts. A thumb hole secures placement and prevents sleeve migration during movement.
These sleeves are suited for professional welders and fabricators working in residential, commercial, and industrial environments where open-arc or MIG, TIG, and stick welding operations generate significant radiant heat and spatter. They are part of STEINER's CF Series, which focuses on carbon fiber knit protective apparel for high-heat applications. Typical use cases include structural fabrication shops, maintenance welding, and any overhead or confined-space welding scenario where sleeve-only arm protection is practical.
Designed as a universal-fit arm protection accessory for welders and fabricators working in high-heat applications. Compatible with standard welding jackets, aprons, and coveralls as a supplemental or standalone arm protection layer.
Welding sleeves are donned before beginning any welding or cutting operation and should be inspected for fabric damage, burn-through, or degradation before each use. Discard and replace immediately if the knit structure shows holes, fraying, or thermal damage, as compromised sleeves do not provide reliable flame resistance. Refer to applicable workplace safety standards and employer PPE programs when selecting arm protection for specific welding processes.
