The STEINER 1230-2X is a flame resistant welding jacket built for tradespeople who work around open flame, spatter, and heat sources. Constructed from a cotton and leather blend with a 9.5 oz material weight, this jacket provides reliable FR protection in a durable, work-ready design. Sized for a 56 to 58 inch chest, the 2X-Large fit accommodates a full range of motion over work layers. Non-reflective snaps keep a low-profile closure secure during active use. Bar tacking at stress points and leather reinforcement extend service life in high-wear areas, making this jacket a practical choice for welders, fabricators, and pipefitters.
This jacket is suited for use in welding shops, fabrication facilities, and industrial job sites where flame resistant outerwear is required. It is appropriate for MIG, TIG, and stick welding applications, as well as cutting and grinding operations where spatter and heat exposure are present. The single front pocket provides on-the-job storage without adding bulk. The gray and green colorway is compatible with most shop dress codes and does not incorporate reflective materials.
Designed as an FR outerwear jacket for welding and industrial trade applications requiring flame resistant or flame retardant garment protection.
This garment should be donned and inspected before each use by a qualified tradesperson or safety-designated personnel. Check for damage to seams, leather panels, and snap closures before entering the work area. Follow the manufacturer wash and care instructions to maintain FR ratings over the garment life. Do not modify the jacket or add non-FR materials that could compromise protection.
