The STEINER 1034-18EE flame-resistant welding sleeves provide arm protection for welders working in high-heat and spark-exposure environments. Constructed from 9 oz per square yard cotton, these sleeves measure 18 inches in length and 6 inches in width, offering coverage from wrist to upper arm. Elastic openings at both ends secure the sleeve in place during active work. A cut-resistant knit wrist adds durability at the most exposed contact point. The green color-coded overedge stitching indicates sleeve width for quick identification on the job.
These sleeves are designed for welding applications in fabrication shops, industrial facilities, and field welding scenarios where full jacket coverage is unnecessary or impractical. The universal sizing accommodates a wide range of arm sizes, and three available widths allow for a more tailored fit. Licensed welders, pipefitters, and ironworkers commonly use sleeve-style arm protection when overhead or close-quarters welding generates spatter and heat exposure along the forearm and upper arm.
Designed as a general-purpose flame-resistant sleeve for welding applications requiring forearm and upper arm protection from heat and spatter.
These sleeves are donned and removed by hand without tools. Ensure both elastic ends are fully seated before beginning any welding operation to prevent sleeve shift during work. Inspect the fabric for burns, holes, or degraded elastic before each use, and remove from service if the flame-resistant integrity is compromised. Follow your facility or jobsite PPE guidelines for required coverage levels.
