The STEINER 0261CR-M is a pair of TIG welding gloves constructed from premium grain kidskin leather, designed for welders who need dexterity and heat protection in a single glove. The kidskin leather construction provides a close, responsive fit that is critical for TIG welding, where finger feel and torch control directly affect weld quality. The seamless index finger reduces pressure points during extended use, and the lining is a para-aramid knit fiber blend that resists flame without adding bulk. These gloves are sewn with Kevlar thread throughout and feature a knuckle strap for added support. A licensed welder or certified welding professional installs and uses these in professional shop and field environments.
These gloves are built for TIG welding applications where tactile sensitivity is the primary requirement. The FR cotton back material and kidskin cuff complement the para-aramid lining to provide flame protection during grinding and general welding tasks as well. The slip-on cuff style allows for fast don and doff in active shop conditions. Sized for medium hands in both men's and women's sizing, they are packaged and sold as a pair. The glove profile measures approximately 9.5 inches in length and 4 inches in width.
Designed for professional TIG welding applications and suitable for general welding and grinding tasks requiring flame protection and dexterity in a medium-sized glove.
These gloves are used by certified welders and trade professionals in compliance with applicable ANSI and AWS safety standards for personal protective equipment. Before beginning any welding operation, confirm all power connections, gas lines, and grounding are properly set per job site safety protocols. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, worn leather, or compromised seams that could reduce protection. Do not expose gloves to oils or solvents that may degrade the leather or lining materials.
