The STEINER 0235-M is a heavy-duty MIG welding glove designed for professional welders working in fabrication, manufacturing, and general industrial environments. Constructed from premium goatskin leather with a split cowhide back and cowhide gauntlet cuff, these gloves provide heat and flame resistance across the hand and wrist. The seamless cotton lining improves comfort during extended wear. At 12 inches overall length with a 5-inch cuff, the gauntlet style protects the wrist and lower forearm from spatter and radiant heat common in MIG welding operations. Welders and fabricators in both shop and field settings rely on gloves at this construction level for daily production work.
The 0235-M is suited for MIG welding applications in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The Gunn cut back pattern and wing thumb design support dexterity when managing wire feed guns and workpieces. The reinforced palm adds wear resistance in high-contact grip zones. These gloves are part of the STEINER Pro-Series line and are sized for large mens hands or medium womens hands. They are appropriate for any trade requiring arc welding PPE, including ironworkers, pipefitters, and boilermakers performing MIG operations.
Designed for MIG welding applications. Fits large mens hand size or medium womens hand size. Not recommended as a substitute for TIG welding gloves or heavy stick welding applications requiring thicker leather construction.
Welding gloves are PPE and should be inspected before each use for cuts, holes, or compromised leather that could allow heat or spatter contact. Always power down the welding machine and confirm the wire feed is de-energized before removing gloves during setup. Follow ANSI Z49.1 and applicable shop safety standards for welding PPE selection and use. Do not use damaged gloves in live welding operations.
