The STARRETT 20726 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade from the Intenss PRO series, built for continuous cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It measures 174 inches (14 feet 6 inches) in length, 1-1/4 inches in width, and 0.042 inches in thickness. The blade runs a variable pitch of 2-3 TPI with a raker tooth set and a positive rake angle, which reduces vibration and helps maintain consistent chip load across a range of material thicknesses. High speed steel teeth are electron-beam welded to a flexible alloy steel back, giving the blade both edge retention and resistance to fatigue cracking under tension. Licensed machinists, fabricators, and metal-cutting shops are the primary installers.
This blade is designed for metal-cutting vertical or horizontal bandsaws that accept a 174-inch (14 feet 6 inches) loop blade with a 1-1/4-inch width.
