The STANLEY BOSTITCH S6DGAL-FH is a 2,000-count box of 6D full head stick nails designed for pneumatic framing nailers operating at 28 degrees. Each nail measures 2 inches in length with a .120-inch shank diameter and features a smooth shank profile. The thickcoat galvanization provides a corrosion-resistant coating engineered to meet or exceed ASTM A153 hot-dipped galvanized performance standards. These are wire-weld collated nails packaged in stick form, ready for bulk loading into compatible nailers. Licensed contractors, framers, and deck installers reach for these when working with pressure-treated lumber where corrosion resistance is a code or specification requirement.
The S6DGAL-FH is specifically designed for exterior applications and pressure-treated lumber installations where standard bright nails are not acceptable. The thickcoat galvanized finish holds up against the chemicals used in modern pressure-treated wood, making these nails suitable for decks, fences, and structural exterior framing. Compatible nailers include the Bostitch F28WW, N80SB, and N88WW. The wire-weld collation at 28 degrees is a common stick format across a broad range of framing nailer platforms used in residential and light commercial construction.
Compatible with Bostitch model F28WW (TV 632-556) and other Bostitch models N80SB and N88WW. Fits 28-degree wire-weld stick nailers accepting .120-inch shank full head nails.
Installation is performed by framing carpenters and general contractors using pneumatic nailers — always disconnect the air supply before loading or clearing a jam. Verify that the nailer is set to the correct depth-of-drive for the substrate before beginning. When fastening pressure-treated lumber, confirm that the galvanization grade of the fastener meets the requirements of the local building code and the lumber treatment specification. Eye and hearing protection are required during pneumatic nailer operation per standard jobsite safety practice.
