The SQUARE D XMLG016D23 is an analog control circuit pressure sensor rated to 232 psi with a 24 VDC input. It outputs a 4-20 mA signal, making it compatible with standard analog control loops used in industrial and commercial automation systems. The sensor features a 1/4-18 NPT male fluid connector and a 3-pin M12 male electrical connector. Built for demanding environments, it carries IP66 and IP67 ingress protection ratings and is engineered to withstand shock and vibration. Measurement accuracy is rated at 0.30 percent. Licensed electricians and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers.
This sensor is designed for use with air, corrosive fluid, fresh water, and hydraulic oil, making it suitable for a broad range of light industrial, commercial HVAC, and fluid control applications. It fits into control circuit installations where a compact, loop-powered analog sensor is required for pressure monitoring. The sensor body measures 2.7 inches in length and 0.9 inches in width, allowing installation in tight panel or manifold configurations. Operating temperature range runs from 5 degrees F to 185 degrees F.
Rated for use with air, corrosive fluid, fresh water, and hydraulic oil media. Designed for control circuit applications requiring a 4-20 mA analog pressure sensor with a 1/4-18 NPT male process connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified instrumentation technician in accordance with NEC requirements and the equipment manufacturer's wiring diagrams. De-energize the control circuit and depressurize the system before removing or installing the sensor. Use appropriate thread sealant on the NPT connection and do not overtighten, as this can damage the sensor body. Verify supply voltage is 24 VDC and confirm loop wiring polarity before powering up the circuit.
