The SQUARE D XMLG010D23 is an analog control circuit pressure sensor rated to 145 psi and designed for industrial and commercial system monitoring applications. It operates on 24 volts DC and outputs a 4-20 milliamp signal, making it compatible with standard process control instrumentation. The sensor connects via a 3-pin M12 male electrical connector and a 1/4-18 NPT male fluid port. At 2.7 inches long and 0.9 inches in diameter, it is compact enough for tight installation spaces. Rated IP66 and IP67, the housing resists dust ingress and water immersion, and the unit is built to withstand shock and vibration in demanding service environments.
This sensor is suited for use in control circuit applications involving air, fresh water, hydraulic oil, and corrosive fluids. It fits residential and commercial mechanical systems where continuous pressure monitoring feeds a control loop or building automation interface. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service technicians typically install this type of sensor in fluid handling, pneumatic, or hydraulic circuits that require real-time analog feedback. Operating temperature range spans 5 degrees F to 185 degrees F, supporting both indoor and outdoor service conditions.
Designed for use with systems carrying air, corrosive fluid, fresh water, or hydraulic oil where a 1/4-18 NPT male fluid connection and a 3-pin M12 male electrical interface are required in a 24V DC control circuit.
Installation should be performed by a licensed technician familiar with fluid system pressure instrumentation and low-voltage control wiring. De-energize the control circuit and relieve all system pressure before removing or installing the sensor. The M12 connector should be fully seated and locked to maintain IP67 integrity. Reference NEC Article 725 for low-voltage control circuit wiring requirements where applicable.
