The SQUARE D 9012GAW1 is an electromechanical pressure and level switch rated for 0.2 to 10 psig, designed for use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It features a single-pole double-throw with double-break (SPDT-DB) contact form and a screw terminal connection, making it straightforward to wire into control circuits. The switch accepts multiple voltage ratings including 120 VAC, 240 VAC, 125 VDC, and 250 VDC, with a 6-amp contact rating. Differential pressure is field-adjustable, with a minimum of 0.6 psi and a maximum of 2 psi. Licensed electrical and mechanical contractors install this switch in industrial and commercial control panel applications.
The 9012GAW1 is suited for hydraulic system pressure monitoring and pneumatic system pressure control in both commercial and light industrial environments. Its NEMA 4, 4X, and 13 enclosure ratings make it appropriate for indoor locations exposed to dust, oil, and non-corrosive coolant splash. The 1/4-inch fluid connection port and 1/2-inch conduit connector allow direct integration into standard piping and conduit runs. The vibration-resistant construction adds durability in mechanical equipment rooms and machinery-adjacent installations.
Designed for use with hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems requiring low-range pressure switching from 0.2 to 10 psig with an SPDT-DB contact configuration and NEMA 4, 4X, or 13 enclosure protection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified controls technician in accordance with the NEC and any applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits and relieve system pressure before connecting or disconnecting the switch. Use the 1/2-inch conduit connector with appropriate liquid-tight fittings where fluid or coolant splash is expected. Verify that system operating pressure and voltage fall within the rated ranges before commissioning.
