The SQUARE D 9012GAR5 is an electromechanical pressure and level switch designed for industrial and commercial fluid-control applications. It operates across a pressure range of 3 to 150 psig with an adjustable differential, making it adaptable to a wide variety of system setpoints. The switch uses an SPDT-DB contact form with screw terminal connections and supports multiple voltage configurations: 120 VAC, 240 VAC, 125 VDC, and 250 VDC. Rated at 6 amps, it is built to NEMA 7 and NEMA 9 standards for use in hazardous locations. Licensed electricians and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this device.
This pressure switch is suited for hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems in both industrial and commercial environments. Its vibration-resistant construction makes it appropriate for installations where mechanical shock or continuous vibration is present, such as compressor skids, pump stations, or fluid-power panels. The 1/4-inch fluid connection port and 1/2-inch conduit connector accommodate standard piping and conduit configurations common in these applications. Do not exceed the rated pressure or amperage limits stated on the device nameplate.
