The SQUARE D 9007TYD5 is a general purpose limit switch designed for industrial position-sensing and machine control applications. It features a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contact form with a normally closed (NC) configuration and a rotary head actuator mounted on the side of the zinc-body enclosure. Rated for 600 volts AC, this switch delivers reliable switching performance in demanding environments. The screw terminal connection and robust zinc housing make it a practical choice for licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians working on automated machinery, conveyor systems, and process control equipment.
The 9007TYD5 is suited for both light industrial and heavy-duty applications where position detection, end-of-travel sensing, or door interlock functions are required. Its IP65, IP66, and IP67 ingress protection ratings allow installation in wet, dusty, or wash-down environments.
