The SQUARE D 9007C54F is a general purpose limit switch rated for 600 volts with a single-pole double-throw (SPDT), normally closed (NC) contact configuration. It uses a roller plunger actuator mounted on the top of the zinc die-cast body, making it well suited for detecting linear or rotary machine movement in industrial and commercial control circuits. Screw terminals provide secure wire connections. The IP67 ingress protection rating means the switch is sealed against dust and temporary water immersion, allowing it to perform reliably in wash-down or wet environments. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this device.
This limit switch is designed for general purpose position sensing and end-of-travel detection on machinery, conveyor systems, actuators, and automated equipment. The top-mounted roller plunger actuator engages directly with moving mechanical components to open or close a control circuit. Its operating temperature range of -20 degrees F to 185 degrees F covers most indoor and protected outdoor industrial environments. Verify actuator alignment with the mechanical trip point before returning the equipment to service.
