The SPI CMS220519030 is an electronic spline micrometer designed for precision measurement of splined shafts, bores, and other hard-to-reach internal or narrow-profile features that standard anvil micrometers cannot access. It covers a measurement range of 0 to 1.00 inch with an accuracy of 0.0001 inch and features a digital counter for direct, unambiguous readout. The carbide anvil and SUS420F spindle resist wear and corrosion under repeated shop use. A ratchet thimble provides consistent measuring force, and the positive lock nut holds the reading securely. This instrument is calibrated to ASME B89.1.13 and includes data output capability for SPC integration.
This micrometer is suited for machinists, tool-and-die makers, and quality control technicians working with splined components in precision manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and general machining environments. The 3 mm spline spindle and matching anvil allow measurement in grooves and recessed features where conventional flat or ball anvils cannot seat properly. The included plastic storage box protects the instrument between uses. It is appropriate for both production floor measurement and inspection room use.
Designed for precision measurement of splined shafts, splined bores, and narrow-profile features requiring a 3 mm spline-style contact geometry; suitable for use wherever ASME B89.1.13 micrometer standards are specified.
This instrument is used by machinists and quality technicians and requires no installation. Before use, clean all contact surfaces and verify zero calibration against the supplied standard or a traceable gage block. Store in the included plastic box when not in use to protect the carbide anvil and spindle from impact damage. Do not overtighten the lock nut, as excessive force may affect calibration or spindle alignment.
