The SPI CMS220519012 is an electronic screw thread micrometer designed to measure thread pitch diameters with high precision. It covers a measurement range of 0 to 1.00 inch with a graduation of 0.0001 inch, making it suitable for fine thread inspection and quality control work. The micrometer features a digital counter display and data output capability, allowing readings to be logged directly to compatible data collection systems. Stainless steel anvil and spindle materials provide durability in shop environments. A ratchet thimble ensures consistent measuring force, and a positive lock nut holds the reading in place. This tool is calibrated to ASME B89.1.13 standards and is used by machinists, metrologists, and quality control technicians.
The CMS220519012 is used in precision machining, thread inspection, and quality assurance applications where accurate thread pitch diameter measurement is required. Its electronic readout and data output port make it well suited for environments where measurement records are maintained for process control or traceability. The interchangeable anvil system allows adaptation to different thread forms, though anvils are not included with this unit. It is appropriate for use in both job shop and production floor settings handling threaded fasteners and threaded components within the 0 to 1.00 inch measurement range.
Designed for use as a precision thread measurement instrument for threaded workpieces within the 0 to 1.00 inch outside diameter range. Anvils are interchangeable; compatible anvil sets should be selected based on the specific thread form being measured. Anvils are not included with this unit.
This instrument is handled and operated by machinists, metrologists, or quality technicians and does not require installation in a mechanical system. Before use, zero the micrometer according to the manufacturer calibration procedure. Keep the measuring faces clean and free of debris to maintain accuracy. Store the micrometer in the included plastic box when not in use to protect the measuring surfaces and electronics.
