The SPI 34-360-8 is a double-end plug thread gage designed to inspect 6-32 unified coarse internal threads to Class 3B tolerance standards. One end carries the Go member and the other carries the No Go member, allowing technicians to verify both the minimum and maximum thread condition in a single tool. The gage is machined from steel for durability and dimensional stability under repeated use. A handle is included, and the tool ships with NIST traceability certification, making it suitable for documented quality-control and inspection programs in manufacturing, maintenance, and trade environments.
This gage is used wherever 6-32 threaded holes must be verified to Class 3B fit requirements. Typical applications include incoming inspection of machined components, in-process thread verification on production lines, and field verification during equipment assembly or repair. The double-end design eliminates the need for two separate gages, streamlining the inspection process on the bench or on the floor.
Designed for inspection of 6-32 internal threaded holes manufactured to ANSI Class 3B thread tolerance specifications.
Thread gages are inspection tools and require no permanent installation. Handle with care to avoid dropping or contact with abrasive surfaces, as surface damage can affect gage accuracy. Store in a protective case when not in use, and verify calibration status against NIST-traceable standards at intervals consistent with your quality-control program. Do not use excessive force when inserting the Go or No Go member into a threaded hole.
