The SPI 34-345-9 is a double-end plug thread gage designed to verify internal thread quality for 2-64 unified fine thread applications. It features a Go end and a No Go end on a single tool, allowing technicians to confirm both minimum and maximum thread tolerance acceptance in one setup. The gage is manufactured from steel and is classified to 2B standards, making it suitable for general-purpose internal thread inspection. A handle is included with the unit. NIST traceability certification is included, supporting documentation requirements in quality-controlled environments.
This plug thread gage is used in precision machining, manufacturing, and mechanical assembly environments where 2-64 threaded holes must be verified to 2B class tolerance. The double-end configuration reduces the number of tools required at the inspection station. It is suited for use in production QC, incoming inspection, and tool-room verification of small-diameter threaded components.
Designed for inspection of 2-64 class 2B internal threads in machined components and assemblies requiring unified fine thread verification.
Thread gages are inspection tools and do not require mechanical installation. Handle the gage carefully to avoid dropping or impact damage that could affect calibration. Store in a clean, dry environment and protect the gage members from corrosion. Retain the included NIST traceability certificate for quality records and recalibration scheduling.
