Speco O4VT2G 4MP Turret Ip Dome Camera Ir Ai IP67

Product Description

The SPECO O4VT2G is a 4-megapixel turret-style IP dome camera built for professional security installations. It features a 2.8mm fixed lens, onboard infrared illumination for low-light and no-light imaging, and an integrated microphone for audio capture. Artificial intelligence analytics are built in, enabling smarter detection at the edge without requiring a separate analytics server. The IP67 weatherproof rating means the unit handles rain, dust, and outdoor exposure without additional enclosures. This camera is installed by security integrators and low-voltage technicians in commercial and residential surveillance systems.

The O4VT2G fits applications where a compact, weather-resistant dome form factor is required. The 2.8mm wide-angle lens suits entry points, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter coverage. The dark grey housing blends with common ceiling and soffit finishes. The built-in microphone eliminates the need for a separate audio input device, making it a straightforward single-unit deployment. AI-based detection features support use cases that go beyond basic motion, making it appropriate for facilities that require smarter alarm filtering and event classification.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician in accordance with local codes and the NEC. Power down or disconnect the PoE switch port before mounting and wiring the camera. Confirm that the PoE switch or injector supplies adequate wattage for this unit prior to connection. Do not overtighten the mounting hardware against finished ceiling surfaces, and ensure the conduit or cable entry is sealed appropriately to maintain the IP67 rating.
