The SPECO O4LT1M is a 4-megapixel IP turret dome camera built for professional video surveillance installations. Operating over a standard IP network, it delivers high-resolution imaging suited to demanding monitoring applications. The turret form factor allows the lens to pivot within the housing, reducing glare and IR reflection compared to traditional bubble-style dome cameras. Security integrators and low-voltage installers deploy this unit where clear, detailed image capture is required across a fixed or adjustable field of view. The advanced analytics capability enables on-device processing for motion detection, object classification, and similar intelligent monitoring functions without relying solely on a central NVR to perform analysis.
The O4LT1M is designed for both indoor and select outdoor IP camera installations where a low-profile dome-style camera is preferred. It suits commercial and light industrial environments, including retail spaces, warehouses, office buildings, and entry points requiring high-resolution coverage. Professional installation by a licensed low-voltage technician or security integrator is the standard deployment path. Compatible with IP-based video management systems and NVR platforms supporting standard ONVIF or RTSP streams, it fits into existing IP surveillance infrastructure.
Designed for use in IP-based video surveillance systems as an IP dome camera; specific NVR or VMS platform compatibility should be verified against the manufacturer documentation prior to installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed security integrator in accordance with local codes and NEC Article 725 requirements for low-voltage systems. Power down or de-energize the network switch port and PoE injector before making cable connections. Use rated Cat5e or Cat6 cabling and properly terminated RJ45 connectors to ensure reliable network communication and power delivery. Do not overtighten the mounting hardware, as this may distort the camera housing or affect lens alignment.
