Spears 406-130 is a Schedule 40 PVC reducing 90-degree elbow that transitions from 1 inch to 1/2 inch. The fitting uses socket x socket (slip) connections intended for solvent-weld installation and is molded from Type I PVC (cell classification 12454). It conforms to ASTM D1784 and ASTM D2466, is NSF certified for potable water, and is rated to 140°F; pressure ratings are based on water at 73°F and should be derated at elevated temperatures. Typical applications include irrigation supply lines and small-bore distribution laterals.
