The SOUTHWIRE MSTR-75-A is a 3/4-inch straight liquidtight connector designed for securing liquidtight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) or liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit (LFNC) to enclosures, junction boxes, and other electrical equipment. The straight-entry design provides a direct, in-line connection where conduit runs perpendicular to the knockout. Electricians use this fitting to maintain a watertight seal at the termination point, protecting wiring from moisture, oils, and other contaminants common in industrial, commercial, and outdoor electrical installations.
This connector is suited for use in wet, damp, or oily environments where standard fittings are not appropriate. Typical applications include motor connections, HVAC equipment wiring, outdoor panels, and machinery hookups where flexible conduit must transition to a fixed enclosure. The 3/4-inch trade size accommodates standard 3/4-inch liquidtight conduit and is installed by licensed electricians in compliance with NEC requirements for liquidtight fittings in wet or hazardous locations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/4-inch liquidtight flexible metal or nonmetallic conduit systems in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before beginning work on any enclosure or conduit run. The connector is inserted through a standard 3/4-inch knockout and secured with the included locknut; ensure the conduit is fully seated and the sealing ring is properly compressed before tightening. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the sealing components and compromise the liquidtight integrity of the connection.
