The SOUTHWIRE LFN-200 is a neoprene rubber gasket designed to create a weathertight seal at electrical knockouts and conduit entry points in enclosures, panels, and junction boxes. At 2 inches, this gasket fits standard knockout openings and provides a flexible, compressible barrier against moisture, dust, and debris. Neoprene construction offers resistance to weathering, ozone, and a wide range of temperatures, making it well suited for both indoor and outdoor electrical installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this gasket as part of code-compliant conduit termination work.
This gasket is used in residential and light commercial electrical applications wherever conduit or fittings enter enclosures through knockout openings. It seats between the fitting locknut and the enclosure wall to close the gap and maintain environmental protection of the enclosure interior. Typical applications include service panels, junction boxes, meter sockets, and outdoor electrical enclosures where moisture ingress must be controlled. The LFN-200 is also cross-referenced as Madison LFN-200 and Topaz 586.
Cross-referenced with Madison LFN-200 and Topaz 586. Designed as an OEM-style replacement gasket for standard 2-inch electrical knockout applications in panels, junction boxes, and enclosures.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit terminations and enclosure integrity. De-energize and lock out the panel or enclosure before beginning any work. Seat the gasket squarely over the knockout opening before threading the fitting or locknut into place to ensure full compression and a proper seal. Do not stretch or fold the gasket, as deformation can compromise the weathertight seal.
