The SOUTHWIRE G40006-1A is an 18 AWG solid bare copper, 2-conductor FPLP cable designed for fire protective signaling circuits, smoke detectors, and audio control systems. This plenum-rated cable complies with Article 760 of the NEC, making it suitable for use in plenum spaces. It features low smoke polyvinyl chloride (LS-PVC) insulation and jacket, an aluminum foil shield, and a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire. Operating temperatures range from 0°C to 75°C.
