The SOUTHWIRE/COLEMAN CABLE L4700WD is an outdoor twist-to-lock photocell sensor designed for automatic dusk-to-dawn control of exterior lighting systems. It mounts via a NEMA locking plug configuration, engaging with a quarter-turn twist to secure the connection. The sensor includes a built-in time delay that prevents false on/off triggering from brief light fluctuations such as passing headlights or momentary cloud cover. Compatible with a wide range of lamp technologies, this unit is suited for licensed electricians installing or servicing commercial and municipal outdoor lighting circuits. Installation Notes
