The SNAPPY 200-202 is a galvanized steel wall stack duct section used to route conditioned air through wall cavities in residential forced-air HVAC systems. Measuring 2.25 inches by 10 inches by 24 inches, this fitting is sized to fit standard wall-cavity rough openings and connect floor-level supply boots to wall registers. The galvanized steel construction resists corrosion in typical interior installations. At 0.80 pounds per length, it is easy to handle and position during rough-in. HVAC sheet metal installers and mechanical contractors use this fitting during new construction and remodel work.
Wall stacks are standard components in residential low-velocity supply air distribution systems. This fitting is installed inside finished or unfinished interior walls, running vertically between floor joists or wall plates to feed a wall-mounted supply register. The 2.25-inch by 10-inch face profile fits the common narrow-wall-cavity supply opening found in wood-framed construction. It pairs with matching wall stack boots at the floor level and standard wall registers at the face opening.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-construction fitting for residential forced-air supply duct systems requiring a 2.25-inch by 10-inch wall stack profile.
Wall stacks are installed by licensed HVAC technicians or sheet metal mechanics during rough-in or duct retrofit work. Shut down the air handler and isolate the system before modifying any duct sections. Secure all joints with approved sheet metal screws and seal with UL 181-rated duct mastic or foil tape per local mechanical code requirements. Do not compress or deform the fitting profile during installation, as this will reduce airflow and may create turbulence noise at the register face.
