The SMEAD SMD14076 is a heavy-duty letter-size classification folder built for high-volume document management in professional office and records environments. The folder is constructed from 25-point pressboard stock with 17-point stock dividers, providing rigid support for thick file contents. A 2-inch expansion accommodates substantial document loads. Two SafeShield-coated fasteners are positioned at slots 1 and 3 on the front and back panels, using a patent-pending coating technology designed to reduce paper tears, finger cuts, and fastener crinkling during routine filing. Licensed administrative staff, paralegals, records clerks, and office managers are the primary installers and users of this product.
