The SMC PNEUMATICS KQ2L06-01NS is a push-to-connect male elbow tube fitting designed for use in pneumatic plumbing and fluid-conveyance systems. The fitting accepts tubing with a 6mm outside diameter and connects to a 1/8-inch BSPT male thread. Constructed from brass with a polybutylene tube collet, it handles a maximum working pressure of 145 psi and operates across a temperature range of 23 degrees F to 140 degrees F. The push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion, reducing assembly time on pneumatic circuits. This fitting is RoHS compliant. It is typically installed by HVAC technicians, pneumatic system integrators, and industrial maintenance trades.
The KQ2L06-01NS is suited for compressed-air distribution, pneumatic control lines, and low-pressure fluid systems where a 90-degree direction change is required between a threaded port and tubing run. The male BSPT thread makes it compatible with metric-threaded manifolds, solenoid valve bodies, and pneumatic actuator ports commonly found in commercial and light industrial equipment. This fitting is sold individually and is appropriate for new installations as well as field repairs where a reliable elbow connection is needed in tight or space-constrained plumbing layouts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for pneumatic systems using 6mm OD tubing and 1/8-inch BSPT threaded ports on manifolds, valve bodies, and actuators.
Installation is performed by qualified pneumatic or HVAC technicians. Depressurize and lock out the pneumatic system before removing or installing fittings. Ensure the mating port thread type is BSPT before installation, as BSPT and NPT threads are not interchangeable. Insert tubing fully until it bottoms out in the collet to ensure a leak-free connection; verify by applying system pressure and checking for leaks with a soapy solution or leak-detection spray.
