The SMC PNEUMATICS KQ2H07-35AS is a push-to-connect tube fitting connector designed for fast, tool-free pneumatic tubing connections in compressed air and fluid distribution systems. Constructed from brass with a polybutylene tube insert, this fitting handles working pressures up to 145 psi and operates across a temperature range of 23 degrees F to 140 degrees F. The 1/4 inch NPT male thread end provides a secure, leak-resistant connection into ported equipment or manifolds, while the 1/4 inch OD tube port accepts standard push-in tubing without additional ferrules or tools. Plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this fitting in both industrial and light commercial applications.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic plumbing, compressed air distribution, and fluid line assembly where quick-disconnect tubing connections are required. The NPT thread form is compatible with standard threaded ports found on solenoid valves, cylinders, filters, regulators, and similar pneumatic components. Its compact overall length of approximately 0.66 inches (16.70 mm) makes it practical in tight panel or manifold installations where space is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect connector fitting compatible with 1/4 inch OD pneumatic tubing and equipment with 1/4 inch NPT threaded ports in standard compressed air and fluid distribution systems.
Installation is performed by licensed pipefitters or qualified pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the pneumatic circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings. Thread the NPT end into the receiving port by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to a proper engagement depth per applicable piping codes. Insert tubing straight into the collet until it seats fully; to remove, depress the collet release ring before pulling the tube.
