The SLANT-FIN 57188101100 is a 10-foot hydronic baseboard heater finished in Nu-White, designed for deluxe residential and light commercial hot water or steam heating systems. It ships fully assembled and features the H3 heating element with a 3/4-inch tube, delivering an output range of 590 to 790 BTU/h per foot at 180 degrees F and 1 GPM. A pivot-mounted, fully modulating damper allows individual room temperature control. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this unit as part of a hot water or steam distribution loop. The enclosure measures 9-1/8 inches in height and 3-3/4 inches in depth, keeping the profile low where wall space is limited.
The 57188101100 is suited for single-family homes, renovation projects, and light commercial spaces where baseboard heating is the primary or supplemental heat source. Its design permits higher water velocities, lower pump loads, and longer loop runs compared to standard residential baseboard. The 2-inch floor-to-front cover opening promotes consistent convection airflow along the full 10-foot length. Extendable accessories allow wall-to-wall installation without field-cutting the enclosure, producing a clean finished appearance.
Designed for use with hot water or steam baseboard heating systems in residential and light commercial applications. Compatible with Slant-FIN Multi/Pak 88 series components and H-Series heating elements for hot water or steam distribution loops.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or hydronic heating technician. Shut off and depressurize the hot water or steam system and allow all components to cool before beginning work. Follow local mechanical codes and manufacturer torque and pipe connection requirements when joining supply and return piping. Secure all enclosure brackets to wall framing before connecting the element to the distribution loop.
