The SLANT-FIN 57188101060 is a 6-foot hydronic baseboard heater from the Multi/Pak 88 series, designed for residential and light commercial hot water or steam heating systems. It ships fully assembled with a 3/4-inch H3 heating element installed in a Nu-White enclosure. Output ranges from 590 to 790 BTU/h per foot at 180 degrees F and 1 GPM, making it suitable for single-room installs, whole-home baseboard layouts, and renovation projects where wall space is limited. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers.
The Multi/Pak 88 series is engineered for residential single-family homes, renovations, and light commercial applications requiring hot water or steam baseboard heat. The 6-foot length accommodates standard wall runs and can be extended to wall-to-wall fit using extendable accessories without cutting. The 2-inch floor-to-front cover opening promotes convective airflow, and the fully modulating pivot-mounted damper allows individual room temperature control. High-strength support brackets and no-noise expansion cradles keep the unit secure and quiet during thermal cycling.
Accepts five interchangeable H-Series Slant-Fin heating elements for hot water or steam systems. Compatible with residential and light commercial hydronic heating loops. Designed to work alongside existing Slant-Fin residential baseboard installations in locations where higher output or limited wall space is a factor.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and IFGC or IPC requirements as applicable. Shut off and drain the hydronic system before connecting or disconnecting any element or enclosure section. Verify that system operating pressure and temperature are within the rated range of the element before commissioning. Do not overtighten compression fittings on the element tubes; follow the fitting manufacturer's torque guidance.
