The SLANT-FIN 104-002-050 is a complete hot water baseboard heating assembly built for residential hydronic systems. It ships fully assembled and ready to install, making it a practical choice for licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians working on new construction, single-family homes, apartments, or renovation projects. The unit connects via a 3/4 inch element connection and delivers a heating capacity ranging from 150 to 840 BTU/h at 1 GPM, or 160 to 890 BTU/h at 4 GPM, depending on system flow rate. The copper element paired with aluminum fins provides efficient heat transfer across a 5-foot length, and the Nu-White baked enamel enclosure gives it a clean, finished appearance right out of the box.
This baseboard assembly is rated for residential applications and suits hydronic heating systems operating at flow rates of 1 or 4 GPM with supply temperatures between 110 and 220 degrees F. It is commonly installed along exterior walls in living rooms, bedrooms, and other conditioned spaces as part of a zone-controlled or whole-home hot water heating system. The 1-3/4 inch floor-to-front cover opening promotes natural convection airflow, and the pivot-mounted damper allows individual room temperature adjustment without requiring additional zone controls. Extendable accessories support wall-to-wall installation without cutting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation baseboard for residential hot water hydronic heating systems using standard 3/4 inch copper fittings and operating within a temperature range of 110 to 220 degrees F.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or hydronic heating technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the IFGC or IPC where applicable. Shut off and bleed the hydronic system before connecting or disconnecting any baseboard element. Ensure the mounting surface is level and that adequate clearance exists above the element for a return line using standard copper fittings. Do not operate the system above the rated temperature or pressure limits specified for this assembly.
