The SIOUX CHIEF 640WP02 is a 1/2-inch F1960 PEX-A plug fitting designed to cap off open PEX-A tubing ends in potable water and hydronic heating systems. This plug installs using the F1960 cold-expansion method, which requires expanding the PEX-A tubing end and fitting collar before seating the plug. The fitting is used to permanently or temporarily terminate a 1/2-inch PEX-A line during rough-in, system testing, or final installation.
