The SIOUX 687-3xv is a single valve termination outlet designed for use in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. It provides a clean, code-ready transition from 3/4 inch PEX tubing using an F1807 crimp connection on the inlet side to a 3/4 inch male iron pipe (MIP) threaded outlet. This fitting is part of the ServiceBox product line, which simplifies in-wall rough-in for fixture supply stops and termination points. Licensed plumbers use this fitting during rough-in stages to establish a secure, leak-resistant connection point that is ready for trim-out. The F1807 standard ensures compatibility with standard PEX crimp rings and tools.
This outlet is suited for residential new construction and remodel applications where PEX supply lines terminate at a single valve location. It is commonly installed in walls or framing where a neat, single-outlet rough-in box configuration is required. The MIP threaded outlet allows straightforward connection to angle stops, supply valves, or other threaded fittings during the trim phase of a plumbing installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for residential and light commercial PEX plumbing systems using 3/4 inch F1807 crimp connections at single-valve termination points.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making any connections. Use a calibrated F1807 PEX crimp tool and the appropriate copper crimp rings to ensure a leak-free connection on the PEX side. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MIP outlet threads before attaching downstream valves or fittings.
