The SIGMA 811043611 is a FIG 3105R malleable iron reducing tee with a galvanized finish, designed for threaded pipe assemblies in low-pressure gas, water, and air distribution systems. The tee connects three lines with nominal sizes of 1-1/4 inches on the run inlet, 1 inch on the run outlet, and 3/4 inch on the branch, all with female National Pipe Taper (FNPT) threads. Rated at 150 lb, this fitting is installed by plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC mechanics working on commercial or industrial piping where a step-down in pipe diameter is required at a branch junction.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, fire protection, and general industrial piping applications. It is commonly installed in water supply lines, compressed air distribution headers, and low-pressure gas piping where a branch line of reduced diameter must be taken off a larger main. The galvanized coating provides corrosion resistance in environments with moderate moisture exposure.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 150 lb class threaded malleable iron piping systems using standard FNPT connections.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters following applicable IPC or IFGC code requirements for the service fluid. Shut off and depressurize the line fully before disassembly or installation. Apply an approved thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before making up the joint. Do not over-tighten threaded connections; use a pipe wrench on the fitting body, not on the branch outlet.
