The SHURITE 7507Z is an electromechanical analog panel meter designed to measure alternating current (AC) up to 80 amps. Part of the 750 Series, it uses a moving-iron or D'Arsonval-style mechanism to display current on a continuous analog scale with a zero adjuster for field calibration. The polystyrene casing keeps weight low and offers adequate resistance to common panel environments. This meter is UL Recognized and carries a 5% accuracy rating across its full measurement range. Licensed electricians and panel builders install this type of meter in distribution panels, switchboards, motor control centers, and industrial enclosures where direct analog current readout is required.
The 7507Z fits flush-mount panel applications using a standard 2.06-inch round cutout or a DIN-style rectangular cutout measuring 2.93 by 1.3 inches behind the panel. The 3.5-inch face size makes it suitable for standard panel door and subpanel cutouts in both commercial and light industrial installations. It reads AC amperage in the 0 to 80 AAC range, making it appropriate for branch circuit monitoring, motor load monitoring, and generator output verification where a direct-reading instrument is preferred over digital alternatives.
Designed as an OEM-style panel meter for flush-mount electrical enclosures, distribution panels, and switchboards requiring a direct-reading analog AC ammeter with a standard 2.06-inch round or DIN rectangular cutout.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the panel or enclosure before cutting the panel opening or making any wiring connections. Verify the circuit current does not exceed the 80 AAC full-scale rating of the meter. Use the zero adjuster only after installation is complete and the circuit is de-energized.
