The SHAVIV 151-29040 is a bi-directional swivel scraper blade designed for deburring and edge finishing on metal, plastic, and cast iron workpieces. Manufactured from high-speed steel, the blade mounts in compatible E and M series holders and pivots freely to follow hole edges and straight edges without repositioning. Two usable cut edges extend service life before replacement is needed. The reversible, adjustable design makes it a practical choice for machinists, pipefitters, and tool-and-die technicians who need consistent, controlled deburring on varied materials.
This blade is suited for use on hole edges and straight edges across a range of materials including brass, cast iron, and plastic. It fits production and maintenance shop environments where burr removal is a routine step after drilling, reaming, or cutting operations. The bi-directional cutting action allows the blade to remove material on both the forward and return stroke, reducing time per part in high-volume deburring tasks. Each package contains one blade.
Designed for use with SHAVIV E and M series blade holders. Suitable for deburring hole edges and straight edges on brass, cast iron, and plastic surfaces.
Install and replace scraper blades only after securing the holder and ensuring the workpiece is stationary. High-speed steel blades have sharp edges - use appropriate cut-resistant gloves when handling. Seat the blade fully in the holder slot before applying cutting pressure to avoid blade ejection or inconsistent swivel action. Follow your shop safety program and applicable hand-tool handling procedures when servicing or replacing blades.
